Even if he says it is "just for fun" the fact is that our NCAA and Olympic hero is making a return to the wrestling mat. Cael will be competing in the Northeast Senior Freestyle Regionals. He will be wrestling at 96kg/211lbs which is one weight higher than he competed in his freestyle career. Sanderson is wrestling for some of his Penn State wrestlers encouraged him to wrestle at it after they won the Big 10 title.
Do you think Cael is just doing this for fun? Do you think he might catch the bug and want to compete again? Would that even be possible with him as a head coach? Could we see Cael make another run in 2012?
