Tough first day for the Cadet Freestyle team as they went 2-8 in competition. The only two wins came from Mitch Sliga at 85KG who made it to the bronze medal match but fell just short of the bronze. Click on the link above for the full brackets. |

Day 2 was much more successful for the USA Cadet Freestyle team. Zain Retherford who has been unstoppable over the last several months proved he is not just the best in the U.S. but in the world. Zain won the Gold medal at 63KG. Placing 5th were Garret Ryan and Chance Marsteller. Chance had to Inj default his bronze medal match after hurting his arm in his semi final match. Garrett wrestled back in the repechage to make it to the bronze medal match. Also winning 2 matches for the USA team was Joey McKenna but was eliminated when his opponent lost in the semi final match.
